We first met Simon after a nightmare had struck! My Sister and I had bought a house that needed extensive renovation and modernization. Our first decorator was a disaster, left it in a worse state than it was originally.

Simon came, quoted and was given the job. It was not only decorating, it was considerable repair, renovation and making good that involved considerable multi-trade skill and expertise.

The finished job was amazing. We then asked Simon to decorate our house from top to bottom, to install shelving, rehang doors, make good walls and cupboards, in fact little short of refurbishing every room. Simon worked neatly, diligently, always cheerful, always willing to complete new jobs as they came along, and they kept on coming!

We cannot recommend highly enough. The work done is of the highest professional standard. The application, diligence and reliability matched the technical expertise. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Honesty was without question. We have no problems leaving a key with Simon and for him to come in when we are not there.

His work has been much admired. Our other Sister was so impressed she hired him for other jobs.

I am quite willing to verify the above personally and independently with interested parties. I repeat, we recommend Simon without hesitation.

When our grade 2 listed Georgian house suffered serious flood damage I needed a decorator I could trust to do a high quality job without constant supervision and for a reasonable price.

After meeting several decorators I chose Simon and I’m glad I did.

To start with Simon actually did a full day's work unlike many of the other contractors working on the restoration. He was also flexible in his hours and often worked evenings and weekends to finish jobs. Simon was also great to work with; he’s very positive and was always happy to add to the list of things to do.

Simon also took great pride in his work and where as other contractors simply moved on to the next job, Simon was genuinely pleased to see how the whole project finished up.

Simon’s price was competitive but overall it was more important to me that he provide value for money and a quality job. I can say with certainty that Simon exceeded our expectations in this respect and as such I have no hesitation in recommending his work.
